It is with mixed feelings that I write this article.
Jeanne, our General Manager, has been part of our family since December 2005 and although we as the management and staff of Morebo, as well as many of our clients will be saddened by her retirement, we are happy to inform everyone that she will be staying on as a Financial Planner.
Jeanne joined us from Fedlife on 01 December 2005 and during the next 14 years was instrumental in making a huge difference to our business in many ways. Two of these really stand out.
In her management role she was always meticulous in her duties, which she always carried out in her calm and inimitable way. I do not think that there is anyone that she came into contact with who has a bad thing to say about her. She was extremely well liked by our service providers, our staff and our clients. Nothing was ever to much trouble and everything required or asked by those she served was always carried out to completion to the nth degree.
What really stood out above everything else was her commitment to the business and above all to her consultants. She was our Mother Hen. Her commitment to helping everyone in the organisation grow and develop in their individual careers has been amazing. Most of our staff, consultants and administrators, have Jeanne to thank for their recruitment, growth and success. I do not say this lightly, as I will be the first to say that she made a difference for me. Her knowledge of the industry, the products that we provide, the environment that we work in as well as the charitable work that she was involved in on behalf of Morebo cannot be faulted in any way.
There was hardly a dry eye at our thank you get together last week where we said our goodbyes to her as a part of the management team. However, she will still be here at Morebo in a different role and for this we are grateful. She will still be part of the team doing what she loves most. Looking after the financial wellbeing of her clients.
Thank you, Jeanne, for all that you have done for us and for all that you will still do. You are appreciated and loved and I for one am extremely pleased that you will only be a couple of offices down from mine. On behalf of the Shareholders, Directors, Management and Staff of Morebo, I wish you a well-deserved semi-retirement and all the best for the coming years that we will spend together taking Morebo to even greater heights.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Festive Season and a much better year for 2020.
