What is Ubuntu?
“My humanity is caught up, is inextricably bound up, in what is yours”
– Archbishop Desmond Tutu
Ubuntu is all about: –
- selfless acts;
- helping a stranger in need;
- relating with others;
- benefitting the community;
- connectedness;
- how we as humans should behave towards each other!
You are a wealthier person when you ‘walk-the-Ubuntu-walk’ and ‘talk-the-Ubuntu-talk’.
Let us be Ubuntu!

The staff at Morebo opening their hearts and wallets for underprivileged children!

Mandela Day 2019

Florida House
Through donations and contributions from Morebo and staff, we managed to put together a wonderful delivery of much-needed items for Florida House.
What a beautiful 67 minutes spent with these babies. Stopping our fast-paced lives, in this crazy, sometimes cruel world to hold a baby is a beautiful, calming, humbling experience. Nothing else mattered for those 67 minutes, except that baby! What an amazing experience!
Well done Morebo! Our 67 minutes was well spent!

Our 67 Mins – Our Mandela Day
‘We got our Ubuntu on!’
Did we do enough? Did we share enough? Did we give enough?
How do you measure enough when the needs are countless and vast?
Realistically speaking that can’t be answered.
What can be measured is the enthusiasm and excitement that Morebo staff have when they get their ‘Ubuntu’ on!
We painted, and we planted! And then we ………….. braaied!
Our time at Sparrow Rainbow Village in Maraisburg was heart-warming, we gave of ourselves with no expectations in return. We walked away from the day humbled, grateful for all the blessings in our own lives and determined to do more in our community!
